As part of the Comprehensive Cooperation and Benefits Agreement (CBA), Victoria Gold Corporation and First Nations Na-cho Nyak Dun have established a scholarship program to support Na-cho Nyak Dun Citizens attending university, college, trades / technical courses on a full time basis. Funds may be used for tuition, school supplies / equipment, rent, food, day care and transportation.
Primary consideration will be given to students entering the field of business, mining, engineering, geology, science, environment, community development, health and safety and other support roles related to mining. Other areas of study may be given
A committee comprised of two Victoria Gold representatives and the FNNND Education Manager will review and select successful applicants based on the merits of the application and the intent of the funds.
Incomplete applications will not be considered and must be submitted by the advertised deadline.
